Strongbow Exploration Inc. (SBW: TSXV) is pleased to announce that a second drilling rig has been mobilized to the Midway gold project in Lancaster County, South Carolina, where a 3,000 metre drilling program is underway. Drilling is expected to continue through July 2011, and is testing priority geochemical targets identified within the project area, which is located within the historic Haile-Brewer gold trend, adjacent to Romarco Minerals' Haile gold mine property. In June, one of the drilling rigs will be repositioned to Strongbow's Parker gold mine property located in North Carolina, approximately 100 kilometres to the north of Midway.
Strongbow's 2011 exploration programs are conducted under the supervision of David Gale, P.Geo. (BC), Vice-President of Exploration for Strongbow and a qualified person under NI 43-101.
