Steve Holley

Steve Holley

Steve Holley joined Cornish Metals in July 2022 as Feasibility Study Manager, working on supporting both the feasibility study and dewatering/re-access projects. With a current focus on geotechnical data collection and headframe inspections, he also acts as Substitute Mine Manager when required, to support underground operations.

Steve is from Cornwall, having studied locally at Camborne School of Mines and then working in Western Australia before moving back to the UK. Prior to joining South Crofty, he has worked as a Mining and Geotechnical consultant and more recently in Mine Backfill consultancy, assisting clients with engineering projects, both overseas and within the UK.

He makes the most of being in Cornwall by getting out and about on the coastline at every opportunity and enjoys gig rowing when he can!

Naomi Smith

We'd like to welcome Naomi Smith as the newest addition to the Cornish Metals team - joining us as a resource geologist, she will be working on the South Crofty Project feasibility study.
Naomi is a keen rock climber, so was eager to check out the view from the headframe!
